about love and getting down to what we are really here for. Its

At
ten I started playing guitar
and wrote my 2nd song. My first song I think I wrote when I was 9. I just started singing this song about someone named Mayo and my pony. Soon after that I ended up traveling across the country in the 1970’s in a renovated school bus with a bunch of hippies. I grew up listening to songwriters and bands such as . . .

WHO IS
TERI HITT
Joni Mitchell,
James Taylor, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Linda Ronstadt, The Carpenters,
Carole King, Bob Dylan, Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young, Led Zeppelin,
The Eagles, Cat Stevens, Jackson Brown, The Rolling Stones, and
so many many others. I don't want to make this list too long here.
. . These amazing songwriters and musicians were my early influences.
I think a lot of subtleties evident in my songs stem from these
inspiring artists that 'showed me the way" so to speak, early
on. When you listen to really good music enough it sinks in and
even more importantly sort of, creates a space for you to live that
is strong and hopeful, and that has a forward motion. I think it
changes you.
I think it feeds you too.
My first real band was Seventh
World, Jeff Reiner, myself and others created a wonderful CD.
The band was together for 6 years.
Then in 2004 I met Christopher Lopez
and Pet Buffalo came into being. Most of the songs came out of dreams
and I had, my awakenings to life on both a macro and micro level,
personal and impersonal. Also Christopher brought several songs
that I had lyrics for. The band has gone through many incarnations.
Currently we are a acoustic trio, guitar, piano, drums and sometimes
cello state of being.
Currently creating new songs for another Pet Buffalo CD and the debut Grace Gravity CD. Very excited about the possibilities.

It’s fun, it’s serious and there’s something we can do about it.
